Paris in the Spring

No unfortunately I have never been to Paris, however we can imagine the blossoms are singing sweet french music.

I designed and made this dress out of fabric that I bought at an Italian Market. It is very basic.

I took matching rectangles and sewed them together. I cut a slit for my head and hemmed the collar. I took the front and sewed a small section in the back together, about 8 in.

I took the back section and sewed the sides to the front section sides. The excess fabric in the back I gathered into pleats. I used a belt to create a natural waistline.

Here is my Handsome Prince. Love this man.

Happy Sewing. Be creative and try something new and crazy.
